A few questions from a newbie
Hey folks. I've got a few issues I'd like to sort, this is my first stop for thoughts and ideas.
First, to get in I have to use the fob then use the key itself on the drivers door. The passenger doors are both fine, but i then have to also open the rear passenger door from the inside. This is a pain in the **** and any ideas on how to fix would be greatly appreciated.
Second, the rear drivers side window does not go down or up. The window lifter motor was replaced but the issue remains. PO thought maybe an issue with the switch at the console. Anyone come across this one before?
Lastly, the little fuel door doesn't click in. It's not such a big deal, but anyone could potentially siphon my fuel and/or add something nasty. Any ideas?
Cheers all

Probably looking at replacing door lock actuators on defective doors.
Try swapping window switch plugs, on panel, switches are interchangeable.
There's a little black plactic do-hicky that breaks on fuel door, can be purchased at any LR supplier.

Or, for the fuel filler door, if the plastic do-hicky is intact, sometimes the metal tab onto which it mounts can get bent out of position. It's easy (and inexpensive!) to bend it back into position so the do-hicky engages the plunger pin as it should.
I always thought it was a thingamajig, not a do-hicky. Perhaps I was wrong.

Believe you're thinking of the Range Rover, being that they're more of a luxury model...they have the thingamajig.
Granted, l believe you could special order a thingamajig on the Dll HSE...but...it was like crazy, Bill Gates type of money.
