Default Flashing Brake Light

So my E-brake light has been flashing on and off sporadically when driving around. It did it even prior to changing my brakes and rotors to EBC. I also bled the brakes, and it does have the appropriate level of fluid. I just cant figure out why its flashing on and off. Anyone have any ideas.

Off subject: Here in Illinois, were just getting a first bad snow storm and I couldn't believe how bad the Disco II stops in the snow! It has no problems plowing through it, but it just wants to slide around like an ice skate. Anyone else notice this? I understand that no vehicles are good in stopping in winery conditions but the disco just seemed really bad!

Thanks

I would check you fluid once more, mine comes on when the brake fluid is low. What kind of tires are you using? My rover stops on a dime in the snow.

If you have something other then factory tires and no 3 Amigos on, your truck will stop fine, how much experience do you have driving in the snow?
That brake light flash may be caused from a bad float switch inside the master cylinder.

Well I'm not overly familiar, it is my second winter. But I have also driven a Mazda Tribute 4x4, a GMC Sierra 4x4, and a Geo Tracker 4x4 and don't remember any of them sliding this much. Maybe they did I just forgot over the last 10 months.

No three Amigos only other light on is SRS which only comes on when temperature is under around 70 degrees. How difficult is it to check the float in the master cylinder?
