Flood water crossing, almost stalled... what was it?

Same here though. I was in floods maybe a month before that in constant water and it was fine, and then one fairly shallow puddle and lower speeds did it...so it is the timing of it that was weird. Also, I cleaned the engine a few times and it was fine. After this had happened, I sprayed the engine with the hose while it was running to try and see if there was a short somewhere and nothing happened. I'm still leaning towards the airbox.
