I pulled the plugs because I was having some issues, and 4 out of 8 of them were fouled (1, 2, 4, 6). I am wondering if my coils are bad, or if something else caused this? I replaced them about 6 months ago to Magnecors from AB. I am replacing the head gaskets and would like to take care of this while everything is off...

# 1 2 4 6 are located on different coils, while it is possible for both coils to go at the same time, it probably not your problem.

you could try swapping the #1 & #2 wires and see if #2 clears, if it does; 1 4 6 are all on one coil.
