Default Fresh Coolant

Hey guys, I was wanting to flush my coolant and replace with some new stuff and a bottle of purple ice, but when I got under the disco I couldnt seem to find the valve on the radiator to drain...I was hoping someone could give me some directions on how to flush the coolant system and refill completely.

Thanks in advanced

Hey,

Disco Mike answered this question for someone else, Cited that drain plugs are nearly impossible to locate unless you look at the service manual. here is the link to the post:

Here is the link to the service manual:

Cheers!

I was wondering if anyone has an Apple computer, because that is what I have and I cannot get the service manual to work on it...

I have an older Mac 933, great computer, fully up-graded and I have never attempted to down load a Rave, especially after some one gave my over 700 pages of the printed version.

Use the link in my sig. for the Rave CD. I am on a Macbook Pro and am looking at the Rave CD now.

That said I never could find the right side coolant drain plug and I have the shop manual and looked. You will get 85% of it out from the bottom radiator line and then just flush a few times to dilute the rest.

I used water wetter because it is available locally, not sure if it works but my coolant is a cool new color.

Dont worry about the block drains just remove the lower radiator hose and get wet.

Are you having trouble downloading it or viewing it? I know its also stored in zipped format so you will have to use an extraction program to unzip the file first before actually viewing any documents. If you still have issues after all this I guess I could burn you a copy and mail it to you (continental US)
