I'd use it as an excuse to get one of these for $439:
Discovery 2 Winch Bumper - Front

 

The biggest thing about the metal bumpers is they are made high up for off road clearance. I like the look of metal bumpers that drop down like the plastic ones. Lower shielding. Trying to settle somewhere in the middle. Terrafirma makes a good one. Even this looks funny to me, like the bottom half is missing.


This one looks better in my opinion, drops down lower. but the one up top is growing on me.
