Default Front drive shaft replacement

What should the labor cost be to replace the front drive shaft on a 2004 SE II by a reputable garage?

I'd do it as a Father Daughter project. You only need a 9/16th and 14mm box end wrench and 45 minutes if your new to swapping a drive shaft. It is as dead simple as dusty said.

That said a shop will probably charge you 1 hour at the shop hourly rate.

If you take it to a shop, it will be on the lift for less than 20 minutes. But the book says an hour so they will charge you $100. It's not as much fun to lay on the garage floor, but it will still take about half an hour.
