Front drive shafts when should they be replaced?

A couple years ago I had a totally new front D/S made up for our Jeep Grand Cherokee at Drive Shaft Super Store http://www.driveshaftsuperstore.com/. Cost was $160 to my door in WI. Great craftsmanship, spicer products. I highly recommend them.
