Default front driveshaft

I took my 2001 disco to my local shop. These guys are trustworthy and relaiable. They replaced my front driveshaft last time. I have bad vibration underneath. They took the driveshaft out and told me the rear U-joints on the front driveshaft are shot. do i need to replace just the rear U-joints or a whole new front driveshaft AGAIN? Looking fro some insight please

if you dont have greasable U-joints in that driveshaft u need to have them put in, and the shaft itself should have a grease fitting as well. hope this helps, i went thru the whole front D/S thing luckily it didnt take out a chunk of transmission

You must have it rebuilt with greasiable u-joints like a Percesion 344 and a centering ball kit like the 617. If you shop has done them before and they don't charge you aver $200 have them do it, if not get back to use and in the mean time DO NOT DRIVE your truck or you can loose your tranny along with the shaft.
How mechanical are you?

im not very mechanical disco mike??? When they pulled my driveshaft in the shop it looked like the front U joints were greasable u-joints. I dont know if I saw a grease fitting on the shaft itself....
