Actually, its cheaper to pay the DHL air freight than Rovahfarm's outrageous prices! And I'll get them faster...

I thought you said your shipping was higher than your parts from UK?

so how much were the parts and how much for shipping and where'd you get em?

I'm not seeing the GKN HD u-joints much cheaper anywhere I've looked if shipping is factored in.

If you know of a better price with shipping, I'm interested.

I'm only interested in the real GKN HD units with metal seal caps. Not the medium duty with rubber caps.

You got a link? I'm all for saving a few bucks!

I usually get my parts from RF in 2 to 3 days but maybe you're on the west coast?

Shipping was a little over 20 pounds. OE GKNs are 9.95 each; HD ones (actually in Hardy Spicer boxes-from Australia) are 16 pounds:

Yeah, I'm on the west coast.

Yeah, I'm on the west coast.
Thanks for the link.

That's $25 each for HD and $30 maybe $40 shipping for 3 HD.... would be $105 to $115 for 3 delivered.

rovahfarm is $40 each and about $10 shipping for 3 so $130 delivered.

That would still save $15-$20 if bought 3 at a time from your source.

Is this who you bought from and without a hitch? Pretty quick?

I just ordered on Friday; received confirmation of order over the weekend. Been kind of busy today...some POS meth head busted out my driver's side window to steal five empty CD cases, two nav CDs and an empty CD magazine from the closed center console. Glass EVERYWHERE...and now I have to file an insurance claim for the window and dent the fu@%er put in my door with his boot when he didn't find anything of value to steal.

I really wouldn't expect shipping to increase much with the additional UJ; no more than $25. So you should be at about $100 delivered for all three...a good 23% less than Rovahfarm.

Anyone heard of this company for drive shafts? My 04 is at 46,000 and from what I hear it's going to be needing one in the future. Just trying to get ahead of the curve.

Received parts yesterday; they are genuine GKN. So, order was confirmed on the 6th, payment cleared on the 7th and parts shipped out Royal Mail Air on the 8th...received on the 14th. Not bad, considering these had to clear customs and all.

Here's some info, though. These had "AllMakes4x4" stickers on the boxes. I know a few of the aftermarket vendors over here (like Miami British, etc.) carry a number of AllMakes4x4 parts. See if they don't have the GKN/Hardy Spicer UJs available over here under that aftermarket parts line...I'm sure it's much cheaper when they have a larger shipment of parts from AllMakes4x4 coming over from the UK than it is to air ship two small parts.

Again, overall, I'm pleased with the quality and delivery time.
