Default Front passenger side window problem

Hey guys, so today I decided to roll down my windows, and when I went to roll them up, the front passenger side window went all the way up to about 1/2 inch or less, and wouldn't go back up. I tried everything I could think of, but I can't get it to roll back up. It seems to be on track, as it rolls down and rolls all the way back up until about 1/2 to the top where it stops. Any ideas what happened or how I can fix it? Any help would be much appreciated, as it had been raining on and off for the past week.

It's a cheap fix with a new regulator. It sounds like either the motor has jumped a couple of cogs or the regulator plastic runner wheels have broken up. A new regulator is as cheap as chips to buy (not a genuine LR regulator) just buy an after market replica as they are just as good. I would guess about $20-25 without the motor as it sounds like the motor is working OK. Check out the RAVE manual online on how to remove the door card and regulator which only takes about 20-30 minutes first time. The whole fix and installing a new reg will take about 1-1.5 hours tops.

TIP ease the door card off an 1/8" and spray a small blast of silicon spray where each plastic stud is and it helps to prise the studs out without breaking them.

Also ensure you remove all the fittings and screws from inside the door as per the RAVE otherwise you will be breaking stuff. If you are really stuck, unbolt the regulator from the bottom of the window (I think it's 2x 10mm or 8mm nuts) and wedge the window fully shut with a rubber door wedge as a temporary measure to stop the rain getting in. Good luck
