Default Front Passenger side window regulator/ horn beep

I had my front passenger side window regulator replaced. It's working fine after the replacement but since then my horn would now beep everytime I locked the doors using the remote.

Before the repair I would only notice the horm beep when locking the door IF i had left any one door ajjared but now it is does that short beep even with all doors closed shut.

Is there any connections between the door window replacemant and the horn beep. I was thinking that perhaps there is some kind of door lock sensor that was not place back properly during the regulator replacement.

Any tips will be appreicated.

Thanks,
Gerard

Does your interior light shut off properly when you close the doors since your repair?

Yes, interior lights work fine. Turn on when doors open and close when doors are shut.
Thanks for your help.

Did you have the hood open when working on this? Maybe to disconnect the battery or something? Any change the hood switch isn't being pressed?

Hood switch....huh....I'll give that an inspection today. Any clues to where the hoiod switch might be located.

I'm not sure if they did pop the hood up to fix the window but that is a good place to start.

Thanks,
Gerard

Figured it out. It was the hood sensor. The sensor was bent over and not being pressed by the underside of the hood when shut.

Thanks for the tip Jafir. That was the chapest fix ever...Free!!!
