Hi All,

My disco,1997 300tdi left side front passenger window seems to have gone wrong. The switch works but the glass does not seem to be fixed on the channel. You can manualy push the glass up with your hand but not down.What would be the common things to look for.

Most likely it is the window regulator. I have replace two on my 00 Disco. You will have to take off the door panel to verify. Both of mine regulators had a disc roller that broke, they are made of plastic and slide back and forth when you put the window up and down. I found a replacement from a Land Rover parts guys on ebay for around 60 Dollars. Hope this helps.
