Replacing Regulators Tonight -- Anything I Should Know?
First off, I'm not a stranger to this procedure in the general sense.
My first truck (89 F150) had chronic window problems -- until I rebuilt the motor w/ steel ball bearings -- so I'm not scared to remove door panels and tackle the inner workings of a power window.
Now, I've had the door panel off the Disco before and I understand how to do that. I even have the proper tools. And, well, my parts are scheduled to arrive tonight and I'd like to get them put in.
Now, the front driver's side is completely shot and I've heard the front passenger side bind from time to time so I will be replacing them both.
To those who have done so, are there any tips or tricks to make this go a little smoother? It looks pretty straight-forward, as most of them are, but I figured I'd ask and try to avoid any possible headaches.
Thanks.
