I'm afraid if you've rounded the 32mm nut your options are now very limited. IMO you need the cut down into the stake slot on the driveshaft using a very small grinding/cutting wheel and once you've cut through into the slot drive a 1/4" wide cold chisel horizontally into the slot you've created to expand the 32mm nut and open it a few thousands of an inch and then using another cold chisel and 2lb hammer drive the nut to undo it anti clockwise. If it's still difficult grind away some of the opposite side of the nut to make it easier to spread apart. Try not to damage the shaft thread too much.
Never use a 12 point socket on high torque nuts always use a six point impact socket and an impact gun if you have one more so if they are corroded ontp the threads. Use lots of penetrating fluid/oil.
Where possible I use a G clamp to hold the socket and breaker bar onto the nut to stop it slipping and rounding off the nut.
Good luck, let's know how you get on with this.
X1, I just checked you out Dusty on the digi vernier gauge, better and tighter fit 'as the actress said to the bishop'

That's one of the many things I love about this forum.... The comedians....
I was using a 6 point but the breaker bar I was using must have been a little off center when I was standing on it...... Either that or this particular rover has soft nuts......
It is a parts car for me and I am trying to harvest the diffs and drive shafts so I don't care if I damage the axle splines as I already have an extra set.
I am going to try Offroad France's suggestion - "cut through into the slot drive a 1/4" wide cold chisel horizontally into the slot you've created to expand the 32mm nut"
I drilled down the slot to split the nut now I will try to separate it. It has been soaking for 24hrs in penetrating fluid so hopefully it splits nicely.
I'll be sure to post a picture of the offending nut once it has been - neutered.....
