Default Fake dealer VIN. Search

I am sorry to inform you but your dealer is trying to sell you or prove you something that is not true but a fake. I currently own an original 2004 discovery G4 rig. My rig has all of the decals and has a number of features.dual sunroof challeng roof rack and more.etc. since my purchase directly from land rover .com north America our research has shown that this years g4 models were not numbered and land rover has no idea which model you purchased. This confusion is supported by any value company, kelley blue book or NADA. Neither company can give you the true value because they cannot confirm what you are buying by VIN number. Huge mistake from land rover. Any other vehicles with a numbered manufacturing of only 200 maintains all or more of it's value to all collectors. 200 made world wide and valued the same as all other discoverys , I don't think so. This model never came SE, or HSE
if you have any questions let me know. All the Vin number can confirm is the color.Call oe email me anytime

You are right... and wrong. And I was pretty much completely wrong. Sorry. I found a VIN of a 2004 G4, and it certainly shows in microcat that it's a G4. But the VIN I posted earlier didn't show this, so unless it's something they started adding later, the dealer can tell if it's a G4.

Default Our 2004 G4 Edition

We own a 2004 Discovery S model G4 edition.
currently it has 82k original miles on it, and we are the second owner.

It still had the original window sticker in the glove box when we purchased it and it shows in the list of options that it included the

G4 Limited Edition Package
G4 Exterior Graphics kit and decal badge.
G4 tire cover
Body colored bumpers
"A" frame brush bar
Driving lamp kit including light covers
Lockable roof rail crossbars
Class III tow hitch receiver
"Foundry" finish fascia inserts
Rear access ladder
Rear lamp guards
Package $3,500.00

The only difference is that at some point the original owner added a genuine
Land Rover D2 Safari Roof Rack, which Im cool with. Also the spare tire cover was missing (by the way if anyone knows where I can get a G4 tire cover, let me know.)

The Rover sold new to original owner at Gwinnett Land Rover in Duluth, GA.
List price was $40,495 with a dealer incentive discount of $2,700.00 and a Land Rover Factory rebate of $5,500.00

Total Value Price $32,295.00

With all that said,
I do realize it is not one of the original G4 Challenge Vehicles but i am wondering If there is any added value or interest for "TRUE" Land Rover Enthusiast out there, or would they say I pretty much have an average run of the mill orange replica.https://landroverforums.com/forum/im...sm032dunno.gif

Recently bought a 2004 G4 edition- a tribute to the previous years rally vehicles

The paint is Tangiers Orange throughout, has the original graphics and the tubular roof rails which were put on the lower part of the roof.

Paid $3700 CDN for her..needed some maintenance- hoses, exhaust, door latches- needs some paint blisters seeing to but thoroughly enjoying driving such a striking vehicle in a city that is Big 3 to the core!
