Default getting a new used engine... what should i replace

hey guys..

i'm picking up a 04 4.6 with 50k miles on it..... i have new parts from my rebuilt engine that wont make oil pressure and i was wondering if i should swap the parts over...

i have a new oil pump with cover, new rocker shaft assemblies, coil packs, pushrods, lifters, etc....

all the parts have 100 miles on them but the engine had bad cam bearings so i donno about the oil pump... it did make 18 psi at 2k rpm warm... so the pump does work....

what should i swap it over? my newer engine makes 15 pis at idle and 45 psi at 2k rpm warm

18 pounds won't cut it with the old oil pump.
Keep all you replacement parts, I wouldn't throw them into your replacement engine now.
Do install a new rear main seal for the engine, a front tranny seal and a t/stat for sure along with a new set of 8 mm plug wires like STI's or Magnacor.

I am with Mike, keep the new parts for later if you might need them. 50K isn't much on the new engine and you will be wasting your time. Keep the parts or sell them off to try to recoup your money.

the reason theres only 18 psi is the block is bad and cant make oil pressure.... the pump isnt the problem ... its new.....i had the same pressure with the 2nd to last oil pump i put in it...
