@redwhitekat some Discos had a CDL but no connection to engage it, so you retrofit a connector

@Jason Feuerstein you can do a simple test on the drive shaft
  • find a quiet cul-de-sac
  • roll down all your windows
  • Drive in a circle slowly and listen you will hear kind of a clicking if anything is binding
A greasable from Luck8 is cheap enough 200.00 US, and you can put it with 2 long 9/16 wrenches and about an hour of time

Lol oh my bad I thought you engaged it and we’re driving around with it on

I’m getting my centre diff installed this week and shifter from a 04 Can’t wait to have it all installed and test it on my next rover meet
