With this combo there is more power for sure, all across teh board. High rpm kick downs on the hiway espesially.
Hmmm...

Did you get new O2's also?

I am thinking about this...
I need a new exhaust, my muffler is peeling like a banana and it is louder than I like (I like it when I cant hear the truck running at all) but on line a cat back exhaust is almost $600.
I found a brand new y-pipe with all four O2's online shipped for $450.
I am taking it to the muffler shop on Mon to get a quote so we will see what they say.
Depending on what they say I might just buy a $15 muffler from AutoZone and start saving my pennies for the exhaust that you got.
But I do like the idea of 4 brand new O2's with the new cats though, they sell for $65 each.
I dont need new O2's but with almost 200k on them it sure would not hurt.

I needed the entire exhuast. my y-pipe was already patched by the previous onwer. the rest of my exhuast was rusty and full of leaks.

I would recommend the exhuast i got to everybody. it has really woken up the truck, more power and efficiency. and the sound is good too

Instg8tr: I'm glad that you found a good muffler shop in Brantford ON.
I've got mine done in Woodstock ON and it choked the exhaust even with a bigger bore. The muffler is a magnaflow but too small.

Please tell us the shop that did your exhaust and the mileage you are getting now.

The shop I got it done at is in brampton called d-masters.

they are all trinidadians.....and easy to "deal" with.

I was geting about 450-500 km's a tank....with a mix of city and highway with just my wife, daughter and myself in the truck.

In the short time that i've had the exhuast I've been geting over 500km, with bigger tires on it now as well.

in fact on one tank I was always travelling with 7 people in it, with the a/c on the whole time and i got 510 km's on the tank......
