Default Grease Is The Word...
I'll be taking a trip tommorrow and would like to grease my CV joints as well as some other pre-trip necessities. What suggestions do you folks have as to grease type, brand, etc?

use a good synthetic that is rated for U-joints/wheel bearings. Don't just get the general purpose grease.

Not sure on what brand, I use RP...

It's a '96 Disco SE7 w/ 140k miles.

So are you talking about repacking your wheel bearings and servicing the swivel joints along with setting the preload?
