Camper: Rovers are not hard to work on.

Just did my brakes $150 (next time rotors) and water pump $ 100.

Had the rear window seals replaced $60 labor $145 seals.
The Disco II has better rear window seals.

Had windshield replaced (off road rock) with new seal $350.

On the Trooper it was a 1988 and I would always park away from others.
I had people drive up and look and smile and leave I had one offer $4k, sold
with 200k miles. 75k is about what was off road.

I just like to work on my LR or VW to keep my peace of mind as it was with the Isuzu.

I think the paint job a few years before I sold it made it. (hail).

A bunch of mud never hurts anything.
I do have a dirty Disco.

Yea, replaced some of the cheaper parts also and repaired many. CD player dirty cleaned now works, radio from ebay for $70,
both bumpers one with a deer who walked away and the next from a kid who wanted to get to school by going under the disco.
But the new stuff is a different animal as my dealer wants to give me a $100 car wash everytime the testbook comes out.
Obviously the thing to do is just forget about it and get your groceries and go home excepting for that new clicking noise somewhere in the front now what!
