I am looking into buying an inside cab gun holster. What do you guys have? Where is the best place to mount your handgun?

 

I’m a “lefty”, so an IWB RH model works well in the Driver’s side map pocket.
a small strip of steel bent and screwed to the pocket holds the waistband clip quite well.

 

I just throw mine in the center console. My glock 19x with the +2 mag extension and a small light that doesnt protrude past the muzzle fits pretty well.

 

There is the locking cubby box that you can buy, I think there is a link in the stickies... But yes, I hear you, We now have to think of these things if we have to live in large coastal cities. Another thing that does us no favor is the central locking feature, great to have but default is driving around with all your doors unlocked. I would prefer the opposite just to prevent some random dude from jumping in while you are stopped in traffic.

 

This is my go-to holster. I try to keep it close by ;-)
