...thanks again BEXT4X4! ...Auxbeam also confirmed these work on my Disco so ordered a set today, we'll see how it goes with them.

Yes, I had a good experience with Ultraflex 4x4 and the plates came pretty quickly considering the shipping from Australia. If you want them I would just purchase from the ebay store so you have a bit more recourse if something does go wrong:

Here are a few close-up pic...keep in mind that I have version 1.0 of the product which has the "wings" whereas the current version is just a flat plate. I agree that a big benefit of the product are the provided plastic clips but I would also suggest ordering a new set of LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 2 1999-2002 HEADLAMP FIXING KIT STC1232 as those are often brittle/broken as well.

I have Auxbeam Q20 bulbs on my 2003 and 2004.
On low and high beam.

They are 1:1 size, no extra faffing around with anything, just plug in and enjoy.

It's been a super long time since I've been on here, but I have the D2 itch and logged in to see what all was going on.

I don't have any experience with these in the D2's, but have a set in my Ram truck and have been really happy with them. They have a good cut off line and really light up the road without blinding other drivers. I've had LED headlights for probably the last 8 years in my truck, and these have been the best. They are the third brand I've tried. Might look into them. I see you already bought some lights, but maybe for future readers it could be an option.

Those are the Fahren I described in post #10. Mine are a different model because the ones you linked have a big cooling unit on the back that won't fit in my D1, but the Fahren Termitor H4 do fit. I don't have as long experience with them as you do, but so far so good. I hope they last.

I like the Ultraflex with 7" round. Seems like the best solution hands down, but pricey depending on which 7" you get. The Ultraflex offering is sort of mid-range for 7" rounds. JW Speaker would work, but cost $$$. Some china knock-offs would get it done cheaper but.... The best reason to go this way would be if your OEM lamps are busted -- I saw a 1998 that someone crashed recently in another thread. I'd do it just for my pleasure if I had some spare cash
