Do they only connect on the back side of the sill? They look great but I would reconsider that design, I've never seen a disco slider that didn't have plates on both sides of the sill.

No they have a backing plate with frame mounts... so design is solid... more so than most offered. I don't see many bolted to the frame with outriggers.... usually just c channel type around the sill.

Good work man. All of the stuff is looking sweet, for sure! I'm planning on doing the C channel to enclose the sill myself - just because I -know- I'll land a rock in just that spot if I don't.

The Sq tube looks great for the rails on it. Exactly my plan too.

Thanks man, kinda tricky getting the 2x2 tubing to contour the body. The tubing actually hangs lower that the sill so it wont come into contact with anything... but I like your thinking

Nice, you'll have to show install photos. Most of all the Defender and Series sliders mount to the frame or outriggers, none of the D2 ones I've seen have.
