Default Hard brake pedal

Wondering if anyone has had this problem? Just bought this disco2, had a head gasket replaced, noticed it had a hard brake pedal at the time. Got it back and put new rotors and pads on, and it still has a hard brake pedal. Brake booster? Vacume line?

Is the Disco stopping fine? I'd rather have the stiff brake pedal than a mushy brake pedal.

Is the engine running...lol. (Sorry, couldn't resist)

But, yes...check for vacuum at brake booster connection or leak at that location or it could be a bad booster. Pedal should be firm (not too hard, but not too soft...kind of like the goldilocks/three bears story...lol) and offer good stopping assist with proper vacuum and working booster unit.
