Default HEAD GASKET? HELP!!!

I recently purchased my second Discovery II. The current disco is a 2000 with 67K miles in pretty good shape. While driving home a few weeks ago the disco shut off when I was pulling into my driveway. I looked at the dash and noticed the temp. was maxed on the motor(wish I noticed this prior). No coolant was under the car, so as my heart started to race in fear of a head gasket I pulled the dip stick. Results were milky oil and the oil level being very high due to the increase in fluids. I pulled the motor apart only to find head gaskets that look like new as well as the intake gasket! I had two shops check them out for other opinions and they said it they look fine/new.

Heads are being checked now by a local machine shop. I don't know what else to do, and in fear of the block being cracked but I can't see anything. Any Ideas or suggestions?

Ryan
