Headliner sagging
i agree, painting is the only way to go. but pulling it down and putting it back sucks despite those that make it seem easy. so mine is down and im slowly getting to all the leaks. wish i had earlier because the water messed up a lot of stuff in the vehicle.
Mine was starting to sag so I went down to the hobby store and got some decorative thumb tacks for $5.00. Put them in a straight line evenly spaced and you do not even notice they are there. Been holding strong for over 2 years and no further sag.
Whatever option you choose, make sure that someone who knows the trade takes the headliner out and puts it back it. Ideally, it should be you or a fellow Disco enthusiast who has done it below. The previous owner of my Disco took the car to some random upholstery shop... They did a super job on the headliner but I screamed when I saw how they approached cables, other minor stuff.
