Heater pushes air even when turned off
my heater continues to push air through the vents even when the heater is turned off - what's weird is that I have no other heater problems. Blend doors operate fine, both driver and passenger temperature controls operate as they should....

Any ideas?

It's just something I think happens in any car. If the setting was on heat when you turned it off the vents will still be opened to the heater core. So when you're driving the natural air movement will push some inside the cabin.
you should turn the temp down before shutting off the heat or heat will continue to come out, for some reason the mixing doors do not close when the heat or AC are off. Just one of those land Rover things I guess; they all do it.

Actually, yes for a D2 it did happen, Rover was aware of it and tried to modify the control unit to correct the problem thru a TSB, with no luck.
Pretty much just have to live with it.
I have found with mine that if I turn on the a/c for a couple minutes then turn it off that in mine it seems to lessen the heat level some.
