Default heavy load gear hesitation.

Hello.

I bought a Motorcycle Trailer Hitch and took my BMW on a trip with me this weekend. Bike is arround 430 Pounds.

Very similar to this one:

Thing is I would feel a gear change hesittation when not accelerating. Kind of felt like the car was breaking very slightly by it self. no sounds , no clunking noises, no vibration or anything , Just these hessitation.

Ive Herd thes trucks are great tow trucks is this Normal ??
