How did it all turn out, i have my new t-case, i have an 2002, and still debating whether or not to go get the 04 lever or a d1 lever. How hard was the D1 lever, where do you have to cut?

if you buy the D1 you will save yourself $300. You have to cut the metal plate currently in your D2 to make room for the D1 shifter to be able to move left and right. not a big deal. the big deal is making sure you order your D1 linkage from a reputable source like Will Tillery or Paul Grant or Roverland Parts. Dont do what I do and trust someone parting out their truck as I went back and forth three times and still didnt get all the parts i needed and now im stuck trying to manufacture pieces that are missing from what should have been in the original package sent to me.
