It does not sound like you burned any thing up relax....
Spike is right on by requesting a picture so we can help you get where ever you put it drained and refilled to the proper amount. You will be fine. Please ask in future about anything so we can do things right the first time buddy! Also please give a picture of drain plug you pulled.

Ok, I think it's alright. There is a 7/8 bolt further up the t case on the driver's side behind the transmission. That's where I filled. When I just opened the 1/2 inch drive hole on the back of the t case about 2 quarts of gear oil gushed out. So, i just put the fill plug back on and now I'm good. Right?

Yes, your probably good!!! now go wash it off and do a real good job on undercarriage and report back after it dries in morning and look it over real good. To much fluid can force a seal to bulge out so you will need a clean slate to start with. Chances are you did not drive far enough (100 miles) to cause damage. you. An count your lucky stars.

Made it home ok. Ran smooth as ever. I don't think anything happened. Thanks everyone who calmed me down. I was in a not so great part of atlanta hoping I wasn't stranded. I was there to pick up a set of 5 16" wheels with new guard dogs which I got for a pretty good deal ($550). I thought for a minute that I killed my tranny and t case in one false swoop. Next time I won't be in such a hurry. I also did my diffs and filled them up to the fill hole. Was that too much as well? I will post pics later of that bolt. I would like to know what its purpose is. Thanks again
