Help eliminate P1000 codes on Disco II
Ran across this thread trying to solve the same issue and wanted to real quick follow up on this for posterity - having both a 2002 and 2004, the charcoal canister is in two different locations for the 4.0 and 4.6.

Strange. I've had both, and neither of them had the cannister there.
No way! How funny… I much prefer it back by the firewall since it’s often in the way of most things I tend to need access to on the 2002.
