Help hood won't open

Exclamation Help hood won't open
Hello everyone quick question after I take the plastic covering the latch how do i force it open from there?

Get a long bent set of needle nose from harbor freight for 5 bucks. Go under to the rear and grab the cable and pry it back. Pop
