99 Disco II

Went to the inspection shop today and the hood won't open. I checked the fluids before I headed up but I didn't add anyuthing so, there shouldn't be any random caps holding up the mechaniasm. The latch in the cab seams to have no pressuere on it. It might have been broke bye servive guys. Does anyone know a way to open the hood so I can check the cable?

 

Wow good question. Bring it back and b**ch. Make them open it and pay for any repairs.

 

Good call but it never opened for them, AKA no inspection.

 

You need to order a new hood release cable and handle, usually Atlantic British and Rover Connection have them.
Some people had had luch using a long pair of needle nose pliars and going thru the grille.
