the hood on my 98 disco won't open as of today. needing to add power steering fluid. i'm leaving for a trip to mexico this friday. is there any way at all to open the hood other than the pull lever on the inside. i searched this and couldn't find anything on it. how do you replace the cable if you can't open the hood to start with??? please help.

 

I broke down and just ordered a new bonnet release along with other maint. items i needed. so no need to go any further with this, my mechanic says he can go from the underside to open it. mexico here i come......
