Default Help, I can't get the plug out

I am trying to do a transfer case service on my D2 and I cant seem to get the fill plug out. First of all I cant get a good shot at it because the parking brake drum is in the way, and secondly the thing seems to be in there like it was welded shut. Any suggestions. Thanks alot!!

Are you using a 1/2 ratchet with an extension to get it out?

Spray a little WD-40 on it and let it sit a few minutes...swearing at it seems to help too, it did in my case

I think I might have used a "wobble" extension to get mine out. Those things are great.

X2 on the extension. There is room just beside the drum with an extension. Although mine came right out. Sorry your having trouble.

Well I got some liquid wrench and blasted the thing. Then I took your advice and used an extension. Worked well, but its still was a b*tch to get out. Haha then the fun part of trying to get the fluid in the thing just made my day. Thanks for the advice!
