ok good deal. im actually happy with this dilemma because i originally had planned on having to get a whole long block. does .030" seem like too much for it to go back together and work?

theres a link for reference on thicker head gaskets. they make custom head gaskets for certain applications like mine. it actually has a list of the different metal thicknesses they use in making them. they go all the way up to .125"
