Default help needed! Lug nut removal

In the junkyard the car is lifted, so when I try to remove the lug nut, the wheel starts rotating instead of the nut..

Is there a way to remove them without spending $350+ on a impact gun?

Thanks.

If you have a tow strap, hook it to the spokes on the opposite wheel and strap it to something under the truck

Don't have tow strap

I have an electric drill ($29 walmart state of the art product lol), but a. I don't have a socket large enough and b. I doubt its powerful enough to unscrew a lug nut.

If you're just after the lugs use something thru the rim to the frame tail to stop it from spinning.

Uh dude, there's no better way to ruin them than to use an impact gun.

I'll see what i can do.

I got another question;

is there a point in taking hazy oxidized headlights? I came across a video where the guy ChrisFix recommends sanding them down and then applying the plastic clear coat..does it work?
