My 2001 discovery has a broken mount/bracket for transmission. Well its definitely broken but i am having a hard time finding the correct part id to order.

If i understand there is only 1 mount for the transmission?
Seems as it should be easier to find for me.
The motor mounts are intact but i will be replacing them anyway after reading around the site here it seems to be the general consensus.

It seems the bracket the mount goes to is broken and i cant find the part.

Ive had it a whopping 2 days now and am going through the sticky maintenance list. Amassing fluids etc to knock it all out.

If anyone can help with a part id for this it would be amazing.

Ill get on about the 5 trouble codes ive got going a bit later I suppose.

 

That is a little heat shield basically. The Mount itself is up inside of that. I've seen plenty without that little shield installed.

 

Wow. I feel smart. I thought the mount had collapsed the bracket it sat on.
I was trying to look through the rave manual but i think the version i got is missing much of it.

Now i can move on to the trouble codes and front driveshaft.

Just watch out for that 7 mile downhill stretch! I’ve heard it’s a nightmare with a LR.
