Default Help! Please?

1998 Land Rover Discovery I, Normal driving, The shifter that allows you to engage low, Neautral, And high...

Please tell me its supposed to be in High when you are driving normal roads and highways...

My cousin says it should be in neautral! if thats true maybe this is the reason the U-joint connecting the front Axle is hammered???

HELP!

High. Your truck is full time 4WD, the U-joint is hammered because it has not been greased properly.

Also read your manual and don't listen to most people they are usually just flat wrong (also most cousins tend to be idiots in my experience).

Back and to the right...back and to the right...

Your u-joints are hammered because you were doing hole shots at Sonic.

Seriously though, it is supposed to be back and to the right, that is normal driving, hi gear unlocked.

Any takers on your truck yet?
