Is there any chance of engine seizing while doing induction cleaning?
Took it to a mech (atlantic british certified if that mean anything).
but the guy very knowlgeable on LR s. Seemed very reliable.
He will check it out and give me a call.
For the engine to sezewould ir rev really high first?
Mine did not.
He did confirm that its a burned wire smell.
Will se what the damag is

It was the starter that was fried.
It was smoking so bad when he started up that He had to suck out all the seafoam duing poper induction cleaning runs a lot smother now. Was still smoking when I drove it home.
Qutie an expensive induction cleaning.
Great mechaninc thou. from now on taking it to him only.

here is what went wrong....
first: i used a 1/4 tube (thinking it was a better fit for the nipple) BAD choise..
you would need a little room for air to go into the engine together with the seafoam.
second, it sucked in almost half a can of seafoam and that made the engine stall.
third, then i restarted the engine it was the starter that was keeping it run, and thats what killed it...
this morning as i was starting up the car i noticed that there was no power to the windows and imediately tired to shut it off and noticed that the key was stuck on III position, not so good for the starter,
could it be possible that the key might get stuck on the III position??
strange, but definately what can kill a starter and it did cost me quite a bit.
