Default Help with rusty connectors under the glove box

Hi everyone, I'm having trouble with rusted connectors under the glove box next to the fan. The main cable has some connectors, but they're all rusted and there's no communication. Can anyone help me with the connection? I've attached a photo. I need to splice it, but everything is cut and rusted.

I had a similar issue. The connector was not salvageable so I got rid of the connector and used permanent crimp splices. I think you could find a proper connector to replace the bad one. That would be a better long term repair.

My thought

1 - Get a used good connector from a salvage 2003/2004.
2 - Use the Discovery electrical library (the one that includes 2003/2004 cars) to id and know where each wire goes.
3 - Replace connector and use factory new metal crimp on connectors to pin it on both sides, and heat activated butt splices to lengthen the wires -- the connector will be jjust like factory, I’d avoid solder or any crap like that.

You want this to be a one time jobber.

I’ve done this exact thing. It’s a real pain but not too bad.
