Default Help: Squealing/Chirping noise

Hey guys,

My 2004 Disco 2 with 110,000 miles recently developed a chirping noise near the front of the truck. It only happens when the truck is moving, and gets louder as I accelerate.

Everything I've read has said either driveshaft or differentials. I upgraded the driveshaft about 6 months ago, and was wondering if it's possible for it to go bad this quickly?

Thanks

Probably not if you greased it well during install. Brakes? Wheel bearing?

Could be drive shaft, especially if it wasn't greased properly to begin with. Usually grease mine every 3K.

Yeah mine was the front driveshaft getting ready to fail. Might want to get under there to inspect it.
