Default Help With Window Regulator Roller

I bought those 3D printed rollers on shapeways from that user here, and tore apart the passenger front door to replace the roller due to a cracking sound every time I rolled down the window. There was a small plastic piece broken in half at the bottom of the door inside the panel, and a round white piece intact but not connected to anything, sliding around the guide. I took it out and put the printed piece in, but I have no idea if it's right or how to do it right.

Is the metal piece supposed to stay on the roller? Because it doesn't, it just rolls off of it. Here's a picture of it:

The window rolls up and down with a cracking anymore, but I'm sure this can't be right...

Yes the plastic roller needs to stay on the metal stud. Did you glue the 2 pieces of the roller together?

Oh man, did not know I was supposed to glue them together, thanks for that! I had searched for a thread with some more info and couldn't find that one, really appreciate it.

You want to remove the regulator, bend out the crimped part of the track, the rollers are riding in, and use a 2-part epoxy to glue two pieces of new rollers over the stud. Once set, slide the roller back in the track, bend back the end of the track. Reinstall the regulator.
