i once didnt get what i felt was promised in a Barcelona strip club.....they made me pay the bill. I walked out called VISA and had the bill removed. I never heard about it again. Yeah, it may not be relevant but it's more fun than your discussion.

and I would but the most powerful HID's if I could use them selectively to blind the zombies that drive around here. 360 degree motorized mounts incl. Otherwise, don't need no badges up in my business.

I will agree it is illegal but what I'm saying is there isn't much you can do in America that someone can't twist and sue your *** for. If you want to live with the fear of being sued over some BS then you probably shouldnt modify anything which I assume you haven't, Antichrist, but don't tell me or anyone that is going to buy these that I'm not going to get my money back if they don't work because the credit card guy i callI will know what it feels like to be blinded and pull out some code book and slap it to me....that sir is nothing but BS.

And at this point I think you would agree....now I'm off to convert my kitchen lights...can't see a damn thing in here...

Ugh, I think we all need to simmer down a little.
I'm sorry if I was helping to stir this up.

We can all agree on one thing:
These kits are clearly for automotive use.
We all know many people install them in their reflector headlight enclosures, which aren't safe for daily use.

I personally don't have a problem with the kits being sold, idiots using them for their headlights are not a hardware problem.

How about we shift the discussion in a slightly different direction:
What do you all think is the issue with retrofitted HID units in reflector enclosures?

My guess is that these HID lamps don't have any dark or silvered portions, making it so that the arc is directly visible(and super dazzling). I've seen some enclosures that directly obscure the filament from view, but that still leaves the issue of correct aiming...
Thoughts?

Default HIDextra kits

I would recommend HIDextra. I got my kits from them.
love my new HID kits! excellent customer service and great quality products.

Was very easy to install, plug and play, no wire-cutting unlike some kits. My new HID lights give the carthe aggressive look and improved visibility that I wanted.

Highly recommended HID vendor! Posting photos sooon!

And I didn't know that Land rover would need to add capacitors on the HID install. I found their informative blog, you may want check this out so you will better understand your HID system as well -->
