I've seen more issues with throttle cables themselves vs the actual throttle body sticking. The throttle body itself has a rather strong spring setup, and unless it looks like the Exxon I Valdez in there it is not going to stick. When you cleaned the IAC did the internal part rotate? It could still be sticking and I've had better luck with Brake Clean on them vs throttle body cleaner.

I'd remove your Throttle Cable from the throttle body and make sure it's absolutely smooth with no binding or sticking. Check your throttle cable adjustments as per the RAVE Manual (or have about a 2mm opening) for the best throttle response and CC activation.

Then make sure you have no vacuum leaks, as they can cause your idle to suffer as well. The Throttle Body does have a TPS, but I have yet to honestly replace one.

And one last thing your adaptive settings aren't reset so honestly either try the battery being disconnected or get em reset. "Sometimes" a D2 doesn't care when you swap out good parts with other good parts, but if you have say a bad MAF & it stores it's performance settings & you install a new MAF it's gonna act crazy. I've replaced MAF's and instantly got O2 fault codes due to the new MAF having different readings vs the failing unit.

You guys realize the original post was 7 years ago, right?

But I agree with the throttle cable. There was a recall on it as well because it binds up at the firewall.

Yeah, but when you're 4 beers in, all threads are important.

As mentioned earlier, remove cables from throttle body end and see if throttle body shaft moves freely. Mine was sticking, lube fixed it right up. If it moves freely, check cables for smooth movement.
