Haha read my post, I was going to swap the wheels and bring the OE FFRR 19s w/ Michelins.

Trust me I know the limitations of the 22s very well (they do have the Parada Spec Xs on them so it's not like I threw max perf. summers on there, but still.... )

A little off topic, but whey do you want to go from a RRS to an LR3? Do you just want more room? As long as it isn't super charged, you should be able to put 18" wheels on the RRS.

Many reasons, at the time I ditched my highly modded 05 mustang gt for something that could tow the boat. I had fallen in love with capabilities of the disco that I wasn't used to, and wanted something that still had some sportiness and good lines along with the big tow rating and off-road abilities. Unfortunately I took the mustang route and went for looks somewhat, and even then I babied it to the point where I was afraid to really do much with it (LUX so it's got the different leather and stuff, don't want the dog running around on it etc..)

So now I realize that I've defeated the point of buying it somewhat.. It still tows great but the 22s kill me for much of anything else.

An LR3 would allow me to enjoy the utility of the DII with all the performance and mechanics of the 'Sport - engine, transmission, air suspension, handling etc.. I think you lose the exhaust note but that's about it. I absolutely love the glass roof, extra space, etc.. Wouldn't care if the dog jumped in, if it got muddy.. and the extra few inches of wheelbase would make an already great tow platform even better. Plus I'd save almost 10k if I get one with similar miles, for something I want even more? ..sign me up. And honestly the LR3 is one of the best looking vehicles on the road, in a different way than the 'Sport but still.

Plus there isn't much else I can do to the sport after going for the performance/looks route. IMHO they aren't well suited for the off-road image. I could easily deck out an LR3 (wanted a white one, black rock sliders, roof rack, ladder, wheels, tint).
