They will come back again. I have gotten the 3 amigos 3 times. Every time during a bad snow storm when I could have used ETC. 3 bad hubs.

Then you will fit in just fine, go get your Rover. Just don't put big shiny 20's on it or we'll have to come and confiscate your Rover, your T.V. remote and you will have to drink Zima for the rest of your life.

The DII takes a bad rap. Yes, there were issues with some, but there are some issues with all. There were apparently some bad 4.6's, but I have 118K miles without a major issue. Hell, I even drove to 105k before the front drive shaft started to go.

Bottom line, Discos are great, but you need to listen to what the vehicle is telling you and you need to be prepared to get your hands dirty.

BTW, the 4.6 will give you more horsepower and better mileage (I get ~15 mpg city/hwy), but yeah, no factory CDL.

Love my 04 and with a few dollars and some hood time i have brought it up to snuff. With the amount of help available here on the site you'll be fine to fix pretty much whatever comes your way.

Truth be told i live in a downtown building with only a parking garage to do work in and i haven't had a situation yet that needed much more than my tool box and jack stands to get after.

Im sure ill need some space when i do the HG work when that glorious gift arrives from the LR gods, but so far so good (knocking on wood) .

Hahaha... love it. The last 2 family SUV's had the 20's... but factory... not too much the bling type over here! On the outsider of the Disco the only thing I would change would be adding a brush guard and tinting the windows (don't know why, but most I see have little/no tint on the back).
