Nice find Jimmy, one or two? Can they get wet like if crossing a creek or river and the water swamped over the hood for a sec wet?

What if you cut 2 holes, and mount in some of those electrical radiator fans. You could create a good rubber gasket to go around it, and also fashion up some covers with latches that way in rain its perfectly sealed and it could also have an ON/OFF switch in the cabin. I think its a good idea! what do you all think?

edit: Dont some rally cars have this? I cant imagine I'd be the first to think of it so I'm assuming I've seen it somewhere and cannot remember.

LOL. I've never seen one in person. Ran across the "fact of" these several years ago... may have been when I was concerned with this topic (was noticing how hot it got under the hood when offroading) and researching. For whatever reason I got over it and haven't had a concern or issue since.

They look like they'd handle some water over the hood - it looks a bit like a chimney cap to me.

cool vents for a off road rig though.

I gotcha, my temps are in range not to worried about it just wanted to ad a little style to the hood with a decent size scoop not to big but not to small either! I have a extra hood in case one gets screwed up.

Anytime you let the heat out it is an improvement over all.. This has been proven in the jeep world time and time again.... I am going to look for the best custom way and when Im done Ill post it.
