Default How do I know if....

...my "new" 2003 Discovery SE has the active anti-roll bar system, height adjustable shocks, or rear air bags vs coil springs ( I guess simple inspection would reveal the latter). Thought these were all standard on the SE as portrayed by the dealer (not LR) where I purchased the car, but have since learned otherwise.

Thanks.

quickest way to know if you have ace is the power steering reservoir will have two caps on it.
RESERVOIR ASSY POWER STEERING DISCOVERY II w/ACE, RND914, RQN100011 - Rovers North - Classic Land Rover Parts

For the air bags look behind the rear tire. if you see springs and shocks you don't have it.

Thanks.
There are no 'standard' height adjustable shocks. The rear SLS air bags are height adjustable for mainly two reasons, ofroad leaving angle by jacking up the suspension and ease of hitching up a caravan or trailer. If the rear is air suspension there are no coil springs at the rear. As far as ACE goes, I believe it has already been answered, i.e. the steering PAS reservoir will have two caps, one for the PAS and the other for the ACE and both use ATF.
